What is a Doula?

Traditionally, a doula is a woman who provides assistance to a woman during childbirth. They may also provide support to the family after the baby is born.

I offer support to people on their fertility, pregnancy, birth, and parenthood journeys.

My clients are interested in becoming mothers, surrogates, and/or caregivers. They may or may not have a partner. Most desire education on their birth choices through evidence-based information. Many are looking for a holistic approach to conception, pregnancy, birth, and child care. All of my clients are empowered to make their own decisions!

My Goal as Your Doula

My goal as your doula is to help you find peace on your journey.  It’s important that YOU make the best decisions for you and your family, and I want to help you do just that!

I am a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, an informational resource, and a woman who will hold space for you.

By providing a non-judgmental space of grace for others to explore and execute their choices, I am able to make suggestions on how to better take care of yourself, both internally and externally, during your respective journey.

how I support you as a doula

I do not provide medical advice, perform medical procedures, or do clinical checks.

If necessary, I will accompany you to your prenatal visits; however, I will not make decisions for you. Don’t know what questions to ask your care provider? I can help you with that! Unclear on how all this works? Let’s explore your options!

This is a time for you to showcase your power over your body. I will always respect your process and encourage you and your partner to assert yourselves and give the necessary support to make your journey 100% yours.
